Light and Powerful Vacuum
I absolutely love Bissell floor cleaning products and the PowerLifter Pet Bagless Upright is no exception! They really know the features people need and want and ensure that we get products that really do the job well. The PowerLifter Upright required very little assembly. The handle slid into place and then required two screws to hold it in place. The only other part that could be considered assembly was the bottom cord holder and that just snapped into existing slots. The Febreeze scented filter simply sets into the top of the canister. It does not have a retractable cord. The first thing I noticed about this vacuum is that it is so LIGHT! But being light definitely doesn't mean it lacks power. I went over my rugs with my old vacuum and then used this one to see if it would pick up more dirt and it did. A few passes over the already vacuumed floor and I could see and hear the difference. I then set the powerhead on a lower setting and it picked up even MORE dirt. I was incredibly impressed. The features that I like the best are: the see-through hose (so you can identify where clogs might be), the easy foot pedal power button, the light-weight design that makes vacuuming less of a workout, the ball pivot which allows for really good control over the powerhead, and finally the pet hair eraser tool because it really worked well picking up long, fine cat hairs from my furniture. The features that I wasn't so hot on were: the inability to turn the powerhead off when only using the suction hose and the cost of the replacement Febreeze filters (you can still use the filter after the scent wears off, but having the scent is soooooo nice!). To be more clear about the pro's of this vacuum, being able to turn it on using my foot is a huge plus. I did find it strange, however, that the powerhead does not disengage when the power is "on" and only the hose is in use. It's not necessarily a bad feature, but I found that it kicks up any dirt underneath it since it's not sucking from the powerhead when the hose is in use. It was just something I have to get used to. I can't say enough how lovely it is to vacuum and make my house smell amazing all at the same time. The Febreeze filter is a wonderful feature, but they are costly to replace. This is the second Bissell I've owned that has the Febreeze filter and though they last for quite some time, it's never long enough. If you really like this feature, I'd recommend buying them in bulk to save money. Or, if you don't care about the scent, you can just wash the filter once it's clogged and reuse them without scent. The PetEraser tool is my favorite of the two tools this vacuum comes with. It's feels kind of like a lint brush and it works really well. I found that it worked by wiping action and not necessarily through suction action, though. It pulled really fine, really long cat hair off all my furniture pretty easily. Overall this is a really fantastic vacuum. It has power, it's stylish, it has great features, it's light and very mobile. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a vacuum that can tackle pet-friendly environments!

Overall its good but I received parts broken for this vaccum and I had previously order the same vaccum before this but I was missing a lot of parts and the box was opened. Thats why I order this one but this one. One part is broken I just needed the vaccum so badly that I just kept it like that. So bumped paying for a damage product but I wouldve return 2 vaccums in the same week super stressful.

    Don’t buy - 2 dogs (50lbs) and it couldn’t hold up
    Had this item less than 3 months and have broken the belt 2x. Now I need a new vacuum - this one does not do well. I don’t recommend this if you have shedders. (Border Aussie and Black Lab, each 50 lbs, for reference.)

    Reliable and Economical
    This vacuum works very well. It has great suction, picks it ALL up without repetition needed. I love the longer cord and the power rewind button is my favorite feature. I'm also saving money by not having to purchase vacuum bags, and that's a pretty penny because my dog brings in a lot of yard foliage daily that he enjoys destroying and we have to vacuum practically every single day. No complaints

    The roller melted at the point where the belt is located during the first use - in a small, 1100sq foot house that is only about 75% carpeted. Maybe we got a lemon, but its been returned and we will never purchase this brand again. Side note: the majority of the strands shown in the photo are not hair. Those are strings of melted plastic.

    Wow is all I can say. Was a bit worried by the condition of the box. The American Bull dog on the box sold it for me. As A mom of 4 American Staffyblue bully fur babies I say anyone who says this doesn't pick up dog hair needs to look at my pics.

    oMG!! Ok so I had given up. Great Pyrenees in full shed mode.Fluffy white dog hair every where .old vac just got plugged up over and over . this vac just sucked it all up!! Astroturf in patio,no vac has never got it even half way clean, tried vac not expecting much,now it looks like new!

    Amazing
    We have vacuumed 3 times in the last 2 weeks, we usually do every few days. We had another brand of vacuum that bit the dust so we bought this one. I cannot believe how much stuff this vacuum pulled out of our carpet that the other vacuum did not, it didn't look that bad. So gross and embarrassing but we are amazed! I'm so glad we got it.
