Works great on dry, rough skin.
Recommended by my dermatologist for treating the aging and rough skin on my ankles. I was amazed how my skin smoothed out after just a few days of use. BTW, a little goes a VERY long way. It's difficult to put a small enough amount on the finger to cover the area of skin needed.

Definitely will not be purchasing again.
I used this product for the first time this morning and just in a short period of time my face was on fire. My face became very irritated and itchy. I'm very upset because it's so hard to find something that works for me because of my sensitive skin. This product certainly doesn't live up to the name “calming and redness relief” it's also kind of pricy. I wouldn't recommend to someone with very sensitive skin.

    My skin feels like GLASS
    I just bought this and have been using Cetaphil for forever but it wasn't making my skin feel GREAT. So, I decided to try something different, but I also didn't want to spend a lot of money on something new. I found this aveeno oat gel cream and was hesitant because I have sensitive skin and it tends to get dry during the winter and gel creams don't really work well with that. But I tried it, and I am NEVER switching to another cream for my face. It it thicker than the regular gel creams and it smells just like oats which is AMAZING but its also not fragranced. With the mix of using the oat cleanser and then this cream, it makes my skin buttery soft. I am so so happy with this product and will recommend it to everyone I know because my friends and family come to me for all sorts of recommendations!!! Thank you Aveeno for this product!!!! The best line of skincare yet!

    Not for me
    I didn't care for this. Pros: It absolutely moisturizers and doesn't irritate sensitive skin. Cons: Even with a small amount it felt like my skin couldn't breathe through it. It felt more like it sat on top of skin instead of penetrating it. The gel is an odd consistency. It's something I could make at home; definitely not worth the $17.

    Never Change Or Discontinue!
    I'm completely in love with all the Calm+Restore products! I'm a middle-aged woman and these products are IT! Aveeno, please never discontinue this line or change the formulas. Soft, bouncy, hydrated skin, no fragrance to irritate, calming on my sensitive, dry, mature skin. Just love the entire line!

    Only moisturizer I'll use
    I've tried every kind of moisturizer Walmart sells. This is the only one that works for me. All other moisturizers either fail to keep my skin soft or they make my skin feel heavy and greasy or they only give a temporary improvement. I don't know of any other moisturizer this light that actually works. I'm 60 years old and my wrinkles have actually decreased and have stayed that way after using this product for only a few months. I don't have to use any other product with it. It works all by itself. I also highly recommend the cleanser to go with it. It also works fantastic without ever drying my skin.

    Not Fragrance Free
    This has been one of my holy grails for a couple of years. However, the last jar I bought a couple of weeks ago reeks of fragrance. My skin is now reacting to this gel for the first time and is itchy and irritated--exactly as it reacts to fragrance products. I am having to return and find a replacement. This is so wrong and misleading on the part of Aveeno. Don't even get me started. Do not buy this if you are trying to avoid fragrance.
