I use this for my refrigerator to eliminate the smell you could have, I use it to clean my drains with vinegar. It takes away the odor of musty smell in your drain.

    Pure Baking Soda: A multitude, inexpensive item -
    I recently moved into an assisted living facility. An old refrigerator was left behind and I'm making good use of it. I have used baking soda for years in both the freezer and 'fridge' so decided I want to do the same here since there is an odor that I want to get rid of and I know Baking Soda helps with a clean fresh smell. Change every 3 to 4 months then pour down the kitchen sink drain and flush with cold water
