I brought this hardshell suitecase and first time traveling with it from NY to Fl and its it broken on the top, the hard shell is not that hard, also brought the carryon and the zipper is broken. The name of it make it sounds very strong but it is not. Waste of my money.

    I bought this in Nov for a trip this past June. It cracked somewhere between Midway and the ship it was loaded on in Seattle!!! First time it was used. Took pics and sent them to American Tourister...after all it has a 10 yr limited warranty! Well, they said the damage was not covered....but i could get a discount on select luggage! It cracked at both side handles, which to me is a weak spot. I guess I was wrong!! I will never buy their luggage again and will make sure everyone knows!!

    Didn't survive first business trip :o(
    The zipper for expanding the suitcase broke between 1st connecting flight to the 2nd. I hadn't even used it expanded b/c I had packed so light on the way to my meeting site. Now there's no way to use it without the shells wobbling around loosely. I need warranty info for replacement or return, please.

    Hard shell does not mean tough
    If you frequently travel, this hard shell won't hold up to being tossed around. I've traveled 3 times with this luggage and found that the hard shell cracks around the wheel. I had a different brand hard shell that did the same thing. I just don't think hard shell is the way to go.

    Good, but still failed
    Strong wheels, but I think the cold weather got the shell Still, lasted a couple months, which is above average for me. I'm typically loaded to about 42 lbs, with some tools in there, and travel every week

    Cracks after first use.
    Very poor quality. The area that's close to the handle cracks after first use. Basically was lifting up using the handle (like what we normally do). But it cracks. Would not recommend.

    The Wheels on the ×××go round
    What I liked most was the rugged Roller ball type wheels. They are not the thin , skinny wheels seen on most luggage, but ones that can traverse all types of terrain I go through ( truck driver, muddy truck yard, uneven pavement, snow and ice). Out of the two years I have had this heavy duty luggage, the wheels held up. I frequently travel via air plane to my truck. First month the zipper pulls came off. Then the shell cracked , then another zipper inside derailed and could only use one zipper on the dividing flap. I bought another one after two years use, for the reason of good wheels and lightweight shell. Made in America- Cracked on an airline

    So Far, So Good
    Suitcase roomy enough to hold clothing (multiple functions—formal dinner, bday party, etc) and toiletries for a six-day Jamaica trip (53 lb total weight) Flight from Dallas to Miami to Jamaica and same on return, each leg of trip required baggage handling. Bag made it through unscathed. (See Photo)

    Cheaply made. Didn't last 5 days!!!
    Purchased this 5 days ago when I realized my previous suitcase (that I've had for 7 years) had a small tear in the zipper. I travel often and didn't want to risk the tear getting worse so I purchased this last minute. I didn't fly and it only went in and out of my car over the long weekend. After 4 days the back right wheel didn't work and I had a crack in the top so bad that I could fit my fingers thru. Do not waste your money!!!
