Worked on my outdoor ants
In Texas, there are a lot of ants, which is fine except when they get on the patio or my dog steps on a hill and gets covered. I put the bait sticks near an active hill next to my porch, next to my driveway, then randomly along the exterior of my house and near some trees. I waited approximately 2 weeks before checking again and the ant hills are now empty. See my picture - yellow circle on the left is the bait and the empty any hill (it's been flattened from me looking for ants) is in the circle on the right. I'm hoping the ones near the trees work as well - so far I haven't seen any difference. Pros - Easy to just stick in the ground or place where you need it. - My dogs completely ignored the bait sticks. Cons - Doesn't work on some types of ants. I wouldn't know how to begin to tell them apart, except for carpenter ants because they are huge. However, if you use their website, https://www.amdro.com/learn there's a nifty article with pictures!

Ants Marched On By
I am still not 100% sure how I feel about this ant bait system. This really was my first time using a store bought ant bait system. My conclusion after use has not turned me toward wanting to continue the use of this bait product in the places that I originally placed them. Where I live there is a seriously ant problem, almost all the time. But in the summer months, the ants come out in droves looking for food and water. I have a few cracks in my porch where they have a hive and whenever I water, they are scattered all over and move into unwanted areas from there. I was hoping that this product would help eliminate my need to continuously spray a repellant barrier around my home. One this were put down on the perimeter of my home in the places where the hives like to hang out, they came swarming out of their hive in what seemed to be triple the amount of ants. To my surprise, they were walking right passed this bait. They came to the party but seemed to know that it was a trap and they walked right around all the bait traps. I ended up getting my spray and going to work after noticed their clear avoidance of the bait.

    Junk
The ants go around, behind, over and under - but never inside no matter where it's positioned. I tried one inside and outdoors, same thing. Easy to use? Yes. Did it actually do anything? No.

No Ants in MY Pants! How about yours?
These ant baits are THE BEST. I had a kitchen full of little terrorist ants. Dancing around my sink area. Taunting me by my range top. Wagging their arrogant little ant tongues at me made me want to crush them into the tile and then do a little song an d dance on their mangled remains. They were masters at stealing food. I could not prepare a meal for my family without those little desperados rolling in to steal what they wanted as soon as my back was turned. I couldn't drop a meatball without those little criminals running out and rolling it under the fridge before i could even grab the darn thing. So frustrating!!! I didn't even know ants LIKED meatballs! Well I came out on top eventually after buying these ant baits. I put one near my sink and one near my range top. Guys, literally two days and not an ant in sight. I even tried to bait them with a little saucer of honey, but they were either too smart for me or THEY WERE ALL DEAD!! HA HA HA HA This stuff works and fast. I still have not seen one ant. They don't have the guts to come back here. I believe the ants that witnessed the carnage and survived the massacre have made their way west to Pasedena looking for better opportunities.

    Hard to tell
This product doesn't have any seal, just "as is" like in the picture so it's hard to know how long it's been on the shelves thus hard to know if it's still effective or not. But as I don't see any ants since I used it(just few days), it seems to be effective.

    Amdro Annihilates Ants
A little background info to preface the review: I live in the Southeastern US. It's been a rainy spring and early summer. We already have ant problems in general around here but this year it has been almost nightmarish. I'll be sitting at my computer desk and end up slapping 10 individual ants off of me in the span of half as many minutes. It's been frustrating. So, when I got the bait stations, I set them out and watched them for a few days. It took little time before you began to see that the stations themselves actually do work in terms of killing off the ants, and my sidewalk was littered with them as proof. I know it does that well enough, but what I'm not SURE about was the claim that the ants carry the poison back and kill the whole colony. I could never find the colony, we had no idea where all these ants were coming from. But I can say that the problem lessened with each day the stations were out there until the ants completely ceased to show up a week later. This could have to do with the rain slacking off a bit, so they aren't chased inside by the rising tide. Could be the poison, could be a combination of both. But I can attest that any ants that crawl into the stations are going to die. Just spread them around your property, they are green so they hide easily in grass and vegetation, and I would wager you'll see results within days.

    Unbelievable
First off I'd like to say that I've tried EVERYTHING ! Ant traps, ant bait, a ridiculously overpriced exterminator, etc. I was still forced to put my dogs' equally overpriced food in a small dish inside a bigger dish of water... and they STILL run a thick trail! I can't bomb because I have some health issues ( as well as a 17 year old pup that would probably die from the poison. As you can see in the pictures I am using them indoor as well as outside. If I attach it to the wall close to their trail- they go RIGHT in.. and come back out to take that yummy stuff back home to the colony! Eat up my little exoskeletons! This way my puppy can't take it to chew on it . I'm talking OVERNIGHT they were decreased by about 75% ! One tip for outside use- don't put them in the sun. Another tip- use a toothpick to break the seal and give it a little stir. I will be these “as needed” - which for the company Might be bad.... as they work very well the first time! Very pleased!

Worked for us on huge sweet ant problem
We have looked every where trying to find out how the ants are getting into our kitchen, and we can not figure it out. It is small area, but we know when we see one ant, there will soon be a trail of thousands. We fight this problem for a few weeks each year, and they have started arriving a few days ago. We have tried to use a pesticide barrier, granules, and sprays, carefully, because the ants show up in the kitchen. Therefore, I feel like we have minimal control over the ants. Although I can not see where the ants are entering our home, I decided to place a few around the outside under some shrubs. The instructions state that these pesticide stakes can be harmful to wildlife, so I wanted to use with caution. I also placed two under our kitchen sink (still not sure if this is where they are coming from). I placed one in a small space under our dishwasher. We have pets as well, so we have to be careful not to expose them to the bait stations. The warnings state there is a sweet smell that attracts the ants, I think my dog would be able to smell it as well. I was just hoping I got the placement of the bait stations right, without any exposure to the pesticide. It worked! Three days now and not a single ant, and it was just that easy. Typically by now (after seeing the ants begin to infiltrate) we are having to bomb. It is actually amazing how well the bait stations are working. I am not sure how long these last, I cannot find that information, but I will replace if I see any ants. The box also states not to use for fire ants, and carpenter ants.

    Great for outdoors
I received the Android Ant Kills Ant Killer Bait stations through the Walmart Spark Reviewer program. I have always used the bait Stations that cannot be used outdoors. They work great to get rid of ants for up to 3 months. But Once I used one on my window sill and found that The ants were traveling from outside, through the window to get inside to the trap. With these new stake types, I can now put them outside my window as well. I can also use them for an ant problem on my porch and around my house. I love that these can be placed inside and outside the house, but still prefer to use the inside type without the stake inside the house.

    Effective Ant Killer
I received a package of 8 Amdro ant killing baits. The baits are recommended for indoor and outdoor. The stake design allows for putting in the ground and remaining stationary. The baits kill sweet and grease eating ants. We have a problem twice a year with these types of ants. They like to build around our flower pots and vegetable garden. The baits can NOT be put in the vegetable garden but since it is a raised garden, I installed them in the ground outside of the bed. The baits start working immediately and work to attract and kill. There is a see through window so one can see when the bait is empty as the ants will take the bait away to their nest. This is poison and caution should be used. We have a dog so I put the baits in places where she is not likely to access them. The baits would also work nicely sitting in a window sill if ants are coming inside the house.
