The Joy of Cooking
If you cook on an induction range as I do, then the All-Clad D5 pots will make the total experience a joy. I am slowly upgrading my 20+ year old All-Clad to D5 and passing on the old set (still in near perfect condition) to my daughter.

Discoloration and spots after one use.
I used it once and after I washed it, there were immediately spots and there is now discoloration at the bottom. I've cheaper cookware which I have been using for years where this is not an issue.

Look at other series of All-Clad pots
I have a whole kitchen of All-Clad cookware going back 25 or so years. This is the first pot I've ever used that wouldn't bring a liquid to boil. 2 quarts over a “rapid boil” natural gas burner could only manage a simmer. The pot is pretty and is well put together, but not very usedul!

    No All Clad left behind
Love cooking with our 3 quart All Clad sauce pan. It is very durable and washes well in the dishwasher. Although we have electric stove now, we are looking forward to investing in an induction stove top and All Clad pans work on induction stoves. This size of sauce pan is perfect for my husband and I. We love our pans so much that as we were fleeing the Hurricane Ian here in Florida- I saw my husband packing up the All Clad pans and I said, “What are you doing?” He replied, “I'm not leaving our All Clad pans behind they are too valuable!” That's how much we enjoy cooking in these pans. I would say we use this 3 qt pan nearly everyday. Highly recommend it.

    5 ply 3 qt saucepan
This pan is wonderful. It is very heavy, but that means that it brings the contents up to temp quickly and maintains it easily. AND it is difficult to burn the contents due to the 5 ply composition. It is beautifully made-a great addition to my kitchen

Crooked handle mars integrity of pan
The handle is mounted crookedly on this little pan. Considering the price I paid for this pan, the crooked handle bothers me. Thankfully the crooked handle does not affect the job the pan does: cook foods efficiently and quickly.

    Worthy every penny
This year, we decided to treat ourselves to some new pots and pans and this was one of our purchases after extensive research. It definitely lives up to its reputation. Wonderful quality and I love the two sided handles for easily carrying it to drain/fill. It is heavier than others I've owned but that's to be expected. Works great on our smooth top stove.

    Disappointed with quality
This was part of a 10 piece set. Used it once to boil some pasta and after washing, noticed that there were some spots at the bottom of the pan. Used extra elbow grease to try to get it off because I thought it was burned pasta but after 5 minutes of scrubbing, it still stayed! Not sure what it is...? Is it the brushed part that wasn't applied on well and so it flaked off? Is it still safe to use? How do I get rid of it! The sauté pan that I used to make the pasta sauce was fine after use and wash... really disappointed with the poor quality control.

    Great Size with Opposing Handles
This piece filled a hole in my kitchen needs. The second opposing handle is very helpful for those with weaker wrists and hands. There are few choices in this size and Made in USA is important to me. I have many other All-Clad Pans and have used them for years. This is the first though which either shows hot spots or flaws in construction that has led to obvious discoloration in the bottom of the pan. I would suggest that this is an indication of a problem which I will now need to watch so as to not burn any food. I would have otherwise given this pan a five star rating. All-Clad is your quality slipping?
