Great sunscreen with no white cast
I'm 28 and have really gotten into using an SPF every day. My requirements for an SPF are reliable sun protection, able to wear under makeup, no white cast and washes off easily enough at night. I love that this is fragrance free and love how moisturizing it feels. I can't wait to see how it holds up on my next pool day. Plus I love the color of the bottle. I have found that chemical sunscreens cause my face to be irritated but mineral sunscreens cause a white cast. This rubs in very well, is glow and does not leave a cast.

Alba Mineral Sunscreen
It works well for protecting you from the sun and it's not too greasy. My problem with this sunscreen is that at the end of the day, it does not wash out. I put the sunscreen on about 10 am, and took a shower later that evening around 9 pm. I felt a lot residual stickiness from the sunscreen, so I hopped back in the shower. This time I scrubbed really hard with lots of soap. Still had some residual stickiness. I don't recommend Alba Mineral sunscreen, unless you like taking multiple showers, and feeling sticky.

    Great green option!
    I really like this sunscreen. I love that the made it very environmentally conscious and it doesn't have a fragrance. The texture is a little thicker than I thought but when you apply a good amount of it, it runs smoothly. I got it because it was recommended by EWG and I don't regret my purchase!

    I've been on the hunt for a dark skin friendly sunscreen (specifically mineral sunscreen), and this has done a great job so far! You get a decent amount of product for what you pay for. Just make sure you massage this on your face for a minute or two for it to really blend in. And don't use too much! You may see a bit of a white cast at first, but it tends to tone down and melt into your skin the longer you leave it on. I would definitely buy this again!

    Works great!
    My daughter has fair skin and is very sensitive and she was able to tolerate this sunscreen! We typically are only able to use a certain brand so this was surprising! We only had to apply once in 6 hours and it worked well so this was awesome. The reason for 4 stars is that it's think and hard to rub in and that can be a bit challenging! It doesn't have a smell and it's not sticky.

    Be Safe Be Pretty!
    I love mineral sunscreens because they go on very smoothly on my skin. I have a dry skin and this is the first time that I used the Alba Botanica sensitive mineral sunscreen with 30 SPF. This sunscreen did not disappoint either! It was very easy to use because it has a soft creamy texture to it that goes on uniformly on my skin. It doesn't have a scent and it is easy to blend too. I applied it after preparing my face with moisturizer and primer. It made my skin look super even and I didn't feel the need to use a foundation. The green packaging is also eye catching. It comes in a tube from which it is easy to dispense of. I like that it's free from harmful chemicals such as oxyybenzone and octinoxate. It's also gluten and cruelty free. It has 100% vegetarian ingredients and it's free from the ingredients that can potentially harm coral reefs. I will keep using it now that the sun has started to come out longer. I would definitely recommend it.

    Great and affordable but it does leaves a whitecas
    There is a lot to like about this sunscreen, it is cruelty free, reef friendly, and affordable. Also I love that it doesn't make my skin breakout and the scent is super light. The downside for me is that it has got a MAJOR whitecast, I have to rub it in a lot to get rid of the whitecast. Overall, it is nice to see a cruelty free, reef friendly, fragrance free option that is affordable. I just wish it did not leave a whitecast.

    Affordable, but with MAJOR Whitecast
    There is a lot to like about this sunscreen. It is cruelty free, reef friendly, and SUPER affordable. I also greatly appreciate that they have this fragrance free option. It would be nice if more companies had this option for their skincare products. There are only two issues I have with this product. Firstly, and this is quite minor, it takes a little bit of effort to put on the skin. Once you start rubbing it in, it can get a little stiff and hard to spread. Secondly, it has got a MAJOR whitecast. I am white (and pretty pale at that) and I have to rub it in a LOT to get rid of the whitecast. I cannot imagine what it would look like on a darker skin tone. Overall, it is nice to see a cruelty free, reef friendly, fragrance free option that is affordable. I just wish it did not leave a whitecast.

    Does not sting; Does not leave white cast
    I have very sensitive skin especially around my eyes, and this sunscreen does not burn or sting at all. I've tried so many brands and the others sting my skin or they leave a white cast that accentuates wrinkles. The white cast disappears quickly and I can wear it as a last step in my daily skin care routine or use foundation over it. I will buy again.
