However, the planning by whoever schedules this should have taken into account the weight of the a/c so there is definitely something wanting there. We had two very nice people come to install our air conditioner. They were a little early which was appreciated and they worked constantly. Our issue was that with a 129 pound air conditioner they should have sent more than 2 people, that were competent and knowledgeable but not a big enough team to handle this heavy installation, being a young man and woman. We are two older people that have some health and lifting issues, and we had to help hold the old a/c before it was loose enough to be tossed out of the window, and then my husband had to lift the new one along with the man because there was not enough manpower. My husband has already had three hernia surgeries. I felt bad for the couple trying to do this without enough help as I am not strong enough to be much help as a 4th person. Also, I was not even supposed to be home but I had come home because earlier my husband had felt ill in the heat. If I hadn't been home I'm sure that the job would not have been able to be completed at all because at least four people were definitely needed. Also, at the end they said they didn't think the brackets were needed. They showed how strongly it was in the window and explained that perhaps things could be put above the window to keep it from creeping up. However, upon further review of web sites and asking others, we have found that an air conditioner heavier than 100 pounds is supposed to have the brackets. The insulation material and foam tape was also not put on. Is it possible to have another team - definitely consisting of more than 2 people, maybe 4 people - come to fix these issues with no further charge? And my husband and I should not have to be lifting items, that is why we paid extra for installation. Thank you.Roger

Brandon was prompt and thorough with the installation. There were a couple of things I thought I'd have to do, like sealing it around the window, however Brandon took care of that too. He did it ALL! The only thing that was left for me to do was turn on the AC. There was nothing left behind, no mess, no box. Nothing. I felt safe and confident having him do the installation, as he practiced social distancing, and wore a mask with gloves. It takes a lot to impress me, I'm one of those cranky old ladies, but Handy did it when they sent Brandon. FIVE STARS to you, BRANDON!! I will request him for any other installs needed.Carlena

WRONG. The company (Handy) first cancelled one of my installation appointments and then rescheduled the other appointment, not once, not twice, but 5 times. I ended up hiring a handyman to do the job, which he did 2 days after I called him. If you're considering using this service I advise you run, not walk in the opposite direction.Val
