What a perfect Notebook
The Acer Aspire is my new favorite Notebook! From the ease of set-up to the Light weight of 5.4 pounds, it's perfect for anyone. The 15.6 inch display is perfect for working online or writing using Windows 10. The electric blue is a truly unique color and really makes me feel like my Acer is unique. The quality material and durability is great. I would highly recommend this piece of technology to all my friends. It's easy to use and very professional looking. I couldn't ask for more and love working every day on my Acer Aspire.

Looks good but not enough Ram
I bought an Acer few years ago that I could upgrade the Ram, but this beauty the electric blue Acer 1 A115-32 ... looks like green on this site ... you can't. 4GB Ram is not enough. Looks like the manufacturers got cheap and stingy in that aspect. Hardly any motive to buy a new laptop nowdays.

    Flimsy hinges
    Less than 10 mths screen back broke off even though we were very careful opening and closing and never carried it while open, exposing wiring. Not sturdy like dells.

    Very good so far, one week of ownership
    Very satisfied so far. Only had it for a week but the performance vs price is better than expected. Plays 1080p videos very smoothly. Decided to buy because it includes one year of Office 365. Slight downside is that you're still required to provide a credit card and it sets it for automatic renewal. Keeping it on S mode for added security but that limits which applications you can install. You can only install apps on the Microsoft store and even some there will not work on S mode. Also keep in mind that the memory is only 128 GB. I don't trust storing files on"the Cloud" so I'll probably rely on an external drive. Because it doesn't have an internal hard drive nor DVD/Blu-ray player it's relatively light but that appears to be the trend ( I have externals that I can plug in). Bottom line, so far, it's exceeding my expectations.

    Basic for everyday use w/ options of upgrading.
    I'm enjoying this laptop. It's a basic laptop but it does what it's supposed to do, as soon as I logged in it gave me the option to change from windows 10 S mode. I was upgrade to windows 11 S mode for free because it came with that option when setting up. (Too bad some customers didn't really pay attention to that!) Also I was able to change from S mode to windows 11 home since I needed to download software not in the Microsoft App Store. It also came with 1 year of windows 365 which benefits me as a student. I was also able to change out the RAM and add an additional 500 GB hard drive for storage since it's a 128GB built in hard/flash drive on the motherboard and the upgrade to windows 11 took 20GB of that space (the file can be removed if you choose not to go back to windows 10). This computer has a good battery life and charges very quickly. It's perfect for the basic everyday user and for students to do their assignments on. The keyboard is softer than what I'm used to and I'm enjoying using the mousepad it's very tactile and responds great. It has a 1.10 GHz speed and a dual core processor so basic games may work but this is not a computer for heavy gaming/gamers.I'd recommend it for basic use and the price is a bonus.

    Not What I expected
    this laptop is very nice, the color is stunning, I love all the ports on it. almost exactly what I wanted. however I'm debating whether or not to return it. I actually own an Acer 11.5 netbook which is 9 years old now and still performs beautifully. I want Windows 11. I chose this one because it states in the description it is Windows 11. but upon opening the box I discover it has a label attached that plainly says its windows 10. I had done quite a bit of searching before I chose this one only to discover ive been mislead.

    Does NOT have Windows 11 S
    The description is misleading. It says that this computer has Windows 11S, but it doesn't. It has Windows 10. Now it immediately offers to update as soon as you do some basic setup. It took 2 hours for the update. Otherwise it seems like a capable laptop.

    I am so extremely happy with the results of this Acer laptop!! It is a beautiful vibrant blue color lid and and around the screen and keys. The keys press so softly and doesn't make a lot of noise either. The screen is a perfect size for being able to see decent. When you first start up the laptop it has a set up menu where you make an account or hook up and already used one. I made a new one went through the process connecting internet and all it was a very smooth and easy process. Windows 10 is a little different you have to buy all your apps and all through the store. Now you can turn off that safe mood and be able to download outside the store but you can't turn that mode back on so make sure that's what you want. S the computer was super fast and quick moving. You get a year of Skype premium and word with it as well. I can easily do my school work and browse the internet as well as social media very quick and easy. The charger is long and charges super quick in my opinion. I also charged to 100 percent and unplugged and a few hours late it was still charged and only at 82% . It also does come with a camera and microphone installed. The camera is decent not the best but it gets the job done. The laptop is very light weight so can easily be packed up and brought on the go. Overall the system is very fast and has lots of storage space on it. It does come with games downloaded so I uninstalled alot of them since I will be using it for college classes.
