Very happy with this purchase
I purchased this Acer monitor because the one I had was too small. My eyesight is no longer perfect and I needed a large screen so I can better read small print and such. This monitor was simple plug and play, took me about 15 minutes to unpack it and set it up. The white screen is a little bright but I can live with that. I can now see and read everything on the screen and the picture is beautiful. I'm very happy with it.

I was very upset the monitor advertised as having HDMI hook ups. However it did not. The instructions even showed 4 hook ups, one being HDMI, however mine only has 2 hookups. 2 I have never heard of and that will not connect to my laptop. I had to go to Target to get an adapter to hook them together and I hope that works. Very upset.

    Acer Professional 24" Widescreen LCD Monitor
    Been using it for about a week now and the picture looks very nice. This replaced a 10 year old monitor that finally gave up. Hope I get that long out of this one. I love the ECO function for the screen resolution, not so bright in your face WHITE screen.

    Good size Monitor
    I like this Monitor really well. Nice and big view. Great High Graphics! If you can't get the High Graphics on this monitor, don't blame the Monitor, you need to re-do your settings or upgrade your drivers, or upgrade you video card. I had to download new video drivers. This Monitor exceeded my expectations! I am using this along with my Amateur Radio gear. to run PSK31. Once again if you can't get HD quality on this Monitor, upgrade your Firmware.

    Great for the money
    This is a very basic monitor that is very pleasing for the money. The 24-inch diagonal, 16:9 aspect ratio, is just big enough to read letter-size documents one full page at time without scrolling through the page, and to display two pages or documents side by side. That is the main reason I bought it. The usable vertical height is about 11.7 inches. The stand is adequate. V246HL. V=essential professional series. 24=diagonal size. 6=options. H=high definition. L=LED back-light. HDCP is supported. I like it with brightness set at minimum and contrast at maximum for reading documents.

    From the box to the desk in less than 5 minutes. It automatically adjusted itself without any input from me at all. This monitor has been used for 1 month and it has performed as expected. Good picture/good value.

    Great monitor except...
    This is a wonderful monitor with great clarity and color in a thin package. My reason for not giving it 5 stars is the screen is very bright when you have a lot of white on it such as paperwork etc. I have adjusted the brightness and contrast as much as possible. It is still very bright. The 24" size is great for accounting etc.
