The Swivel Trays are just what we needed!
Placing these swivel trays on each end of the couch solved so many problems in our TV room. No more crowding the coffee table with food and stuff that we have to lean forward to access remotes, food, and other items. Its easy to assemble, sturdy, and multi-functional.

The pictures are misleading. It CANNOT be used with a lift recliner. I should have looked at the pictures closer to realize that the product was sitting NEXT to a recliner, not secured under one which is the reason this product would stay in place, i.e. the weight of a chair. Also, the handle is not movable and it would be an improvement to the product if the grip handle could be turned in different ways.

    Confidence
Prepping for an upcoming knee replacement. Box store options were junk. This is well balanced stands off to the side to accommodate the recliners leg rest to swing out. Handle is heavy duty as is the weighted base. Very pleased with this and a cinch to assemble with only one loose hex screw to attach the base. Instructions are simple and helpful to explain fine tuning the table. You or your loved one will have greater confidence with this product because of its solid fittings, easy of use and strength to support them when it's most needed.

Works great with our sectional sofa.
I installed this on our sectional sofa between 2 reclining seats by disconnecting the sections and placing the Able Tray between them with enough room for the foot rests to rise. Works great and my wife (Parkinson's diagnosed age 45, now 60) loves using the grab loop to help her up out of the recliner.

Able Tray is perfect for the elderly and disabled!
I purchased 2 Able Trays for my elderly parents. My 75 year old father has Parkinsons and it's perfect for him! He's able to move the tray around and the handle assists him in getting out of his recliner. My elderly mother uses it, also. I purchased one for his hospital but it was difficult to put the edge under the bed. So, my husband used at least 10 zip ties to secure it to the bed. I decided this week to purchase "another" one for my father's recliner in their sunroom. My son has cerebral palsy. I'll be ordering him one in the near future, as well. This one little item has provided so much help. I would recommend this product to anyone.

    I love this table!
I just got this table today and had fun setting it up. It is sturdy yet light enough to take between the bedroom and the living room. I am covered whether I am bed ridden, indoors, or even out on the screened in porch. Thank you for this marvelous invention!

Perfect for My Mom in Her Recliner!
It is the perfect fit for my 96 year old mother with limited mobility and dementia, who sits in her chair and watches TV all day. She uses the tray table for eating, drinking, reading the paper, looking through books, and drawing/coloring. I was afraid it would get in the way of the recliner's leg lift but it doesn't; it is narrow enough to fit to the side. The only thing it should come with is a hard plastic or rubber chair leg support (the same thickness as the base of the device) for the other side of the chair legs to sit on so that it precisely balances or levels the chair. I put something under the opposite feet of the recliner to balance the chair so it wasn't tilted. Otherwise, I love this swivel tray table.

    Desk top is too high
My 93 year old mother, who is average height, found that the writing desk was too high for her to write comfortably on the desktop. It was set on the lowest setting so it could not go any lower. Even when I put some cushions in her chair to raise her up, the desk top was still too high (not to mention that she had difficulty sitting down on the stack of cushions before being completely seated). One other problem was that when I was disassembling the table, the spring-loaded pin (for the height adjustment) popped down into the cylinder on one side and was only accessible through the other side. The concept for the table is good, but these problems made it unworkable for our needs.
