Perfect First Skateboard for a 12-year-old!
This longboard comes fully assembled along with a great quality T-tool to adjust the truck stiffness. Length: 42", Deck: 9", Wheel size: 69 millimeters, Trucks: 7″ Aluminum. This has been fantastic for my 12-year-old son (height: 5'3"). He had tried skateboarding in the past with a shorter board and didn't feel secure on the board, therefore he didn't enjoy it though he loves going to the skate ramp parks. So, I researched skateboards and found: "longboards are longer (and wider) than a traditional skateboard, making it much more stable and easier for riders to keep balanced, especially if they’re beginners. Longboards offer much more support and stability over traditional skateboards. With longer wheelbases and larger decks, they’re a great way for people to get into boarding because they’re more forgiving and easier to stay on while riding than skateboards." Ever since we've had this longboard, he has been on it daily. The surface of the board is finished off with a clear, sand-finished grip tape, which helps him to keep his feet securely on the board. It is lightweight for the size and feels durable/long lasting. This board has some give/flex to it. It is sturdy, strong & moves quick. He feels it handles great and is having a blast on it! Totally recommend! (I am not mechanically inclined but was able to adjust the stiffness of skateboard using youtube videos". FYI: The board came in an oversized box that wasn't packed properly and the box was all beat up, torn and partially open but the board was intact with no damage.

Eye catching longboard
The Apollo longboard has a wonderful natural bamboo finish with a black graphic. Sturdy board with smooth wheel bearings make this an easy ride. I'm 175 and it holds me well. No flexing or stress on the board. Very nice item.

    APOLLO skateboard perfect for teenager.
    This APPOLO Skateboard is perfect for My oldest grandson he loves it and I can't keep him off of it. The skateboard is really put together nicely the wheels run smoothly and it takes turns great. The footbed is perfect for feet placement and it isn't at all slippery. It ride's great even on pavement so I know it's going to do a great job at the skate park. This APPOLO Skateboard is really one of the nicest one's I've seen in a long time. I can't keep my grandson off of it. He jumped right on it when it was delivered and started practicing keeping his balance on it.. as well as it is put together it will give him a really long time of skating on it and alot of Great memories. My grandson said he can't believe how great of a ride this is giving him. The wheels turns great on sharp turns. It handle's great. This APPOLO Skateboard is awesome and he will get alot of use out of this skateboard for sure. You really have to purchase this board to experience how well it handle's for yourself you won't be disappointed at all. I am so glad I was able to get this APPOLO Skateboard for him. He is a quick learner and is having a blast using it. I couldn't keep him off of it when it was delivered so he was practicing balanceing on the skateboard when it arrived. I haven't seen him this excited for anything in a long time. I can't wait to take him to the skate park again so he can keep practicing and learning Different moves on it. He said it handle's turns smoothly and he loves The wheels gripped the ground nicely. This APPOLO Skateboard is Perfect for him and will stay with him through his teenage years. I can't say enough good things about this skateboard it has made My grandson very happy.

    Good board for beginners to intermediate riders
    The bamboo layer gives the board a great look. We had to adjust the wheels nuts and the truck, which was easy thanks to the tool which came included. Once adjusted, the ride was much better. The longboard did well on uneven pavement, thanks to the large wheels. However, I felt some instability from the board flexing a lot. Overall, I would rate the board as good and recommend it as a good starting board for beginners to intermediate riders

    Best longboard I have owned
    I've had quite a few longboards over the years and this one is one of the best. it's very stable and doesn't name cracking noises when balancing on wheels. Wood is very strong and well built. I love the Cloris on it. Very smooth ride
