Exactly what I needed.
I received the order a little late but with the Covid-19 pandemic, it was expected. The elastic was exactly as pictured and what I needed to continue making masks and it came in great condition. I would definitely order online again.

This elastic is very cheap. As I sew on it, it's tearing... not a good product. I actually ordered 2... the second one a few days later... have not received yet... but would like my money back

    Wish I Had Not Purchased
    Very poor quality. Some portions are unusable from rips or so thin it would break easily. I used it to make face masks for protection against COVID-19. However, this elastic does not hold up and has rendered some of the masks made with it unusable. This elastic is scratchy against the face. Had to purchase better elastic when it became available, creating more expense. Had to remake a lot of face masks, which wasted a lot of valuable time. I cannot recommend this product.

    Not what I ordered AT ALL
    I order black and was sent a dingy white. It also does not look like 70 yards of elastic. I will be returning this item.

    works great but yes thin and light weight
    I have made quite a few masks and this works great for myself and my family and friends. Have 3 more rolls on the way. Yes it is light weight and a little thin, but even I, a new person to sewing know you have to back stitch over it a few times to lock it ( the elastic) in place and I take a lighter to the cut ends quickly so there is no fraying. This is only my second sewing project ever and none of my mask have had any issue. Maybe the problem is the sewer not the elastic. I have realized alot of the mask patterns forget a few steps... like double stitching most sections. My boys are rough and tumble 8 and 11 year olds and haven't torn their elastic yet from the first mask I made them. I plan to order two more rolls soon. I almost didn't leave a review because I would haye for this seller to run out when I have so many people asking me to make them masks. But the negative comments bothered me enough to leave this honest review. Sometimes when something is thinner or lighter weight than you expect, that doesn't mean its crap, maybe just sew it differently to make it work in your favor. It has worked wonderfully for me.

    Not the advertised size and weight
    I ordered 1/4 inch wide braided elastic band and received 3/8 inch. it says heavy stretch but it's a very lightweight stretch. I already have 1/4 inch heavy stretch in white and took a picture of them side by side. Deliver said for 5/7 and received 5/9.

    Elastic and COVID-19
    This is not an item I would normally order, but with COVID-19, I had to order it to make my own masks. I ordered black since it was the only elastic available at the time, now I'm glad I did. It looks clean (doesn't look dingy like white might), and washes well. My only observation (complaint) is that I discovered that I should NOT iron the elastic. It seemed to melt or leave residue on the iron. Easy enough fix.

    You do NOT get what you paid for.
    I ordered white and received a sloppy package, poorly packed, with a few yards of white and majority BLACK, which I obviously didnt order. It doesn’t come in a roll as pictured.

    I bought to make mask and its awful quality. When sewn into the mask the elastic ends up fraying as if its been cut in the corner where it sewed into. Out of four corners atleast one corner does this on every mask. So frustrating!
