Pleasantly surprised
I made a big chicken noodle soup and only had these on hand. I was very concerned about the noodles dissolving in the broth because 1) I couldn't "remove them immediately" after boiling (stayed in the soup) and 2) the noodles were going to soak in leftover soup for a few days in the fridge. Well three days later, while heating up the last of the soup, these noodles were still noodles. They're slightly grey in color (if you or your kids are picky about that). For gluten free, these taste pretty normal.

Bugs burrowed into the noodles
Normally we really like these noodles, but in our last order we got a bag that had bugs burrowed into each noodle. I didn't notice them until I boiled them and found bugs floating in the water.

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/22/2022nasty noodsthese were awful. ive used several gf noodle brands over the years and have never seen anything like this. the noodles were small and weird and the water thickened like cream of wheat (ironically). i ended up throwing it away.Akay

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/11/2021Horrible in the Instant Pot!Absolutely awful! This is the first time I used this brand of gluten free elbow noodles in my instant pot macaroni and cheese recipe. When it was coming to pressure, I got the burn notice which I thought was strange. Opened the lid and it was all mush and goo and the water turned into a porridge. Ick! We had to run to the store and buy a different brand of gluten free noodle. I don't know how these taste boiled up but they sure don't work in the instant pot!Lia

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser11/25/2020AWFUL!Awful! As it was boiling, the water started to thicken like a porridge before the water even boiled. I've used two other brands of gluten free pasta and never had an issue like this! The only positive is that I could get my money back because it's a Great Value product. We were going to use 4 packages to make a big tray of MacMeghan

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/10/2020Good stuff, Maynord!!This cooks up just like regular pasta........tastes just like regular pasta, too. I doesn't seem to re-heat like regular pasta, although still good, it breaks up into pieces really easy. Fix the amount you need w/o leftovers OR just know that it will be small pieces once reheated (but still tastes great).Ozzie

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser04/29/2018Cheap and healthy!I was very skeptical at first to try out the Great Value Gluten-Free Brown Rice Elbow Pasta because how good could a gluten-free brown rice pasta taste? To my surprise, it cooked just like any pasta and the taste was just fine - no funky aftertaste or grainy feel to it. It tasted great and to know that it was inexpensive and available to purchase at my local Walmart was another plus!reezyfbaby10
