Very Convenient and inexpensive
McCormick has always been the go to brand for spices. This is no exception. I usually purchase the McCormick spices in the bottles. The pouches by McCormick are just as high quality and the price is pretty inexpensive. The convenience of just adding to the hamburger makes for a nice meal that is both fairly inexpensive and tastes pretty good. I hate to cook so this is an excellent product for me can make this in just a few minutes by browning the hamburger and adding this mix. Looks more professionally baked and is simple and doesn't take much of your time. For the price this item cannot be beaten. Walmart charges a fraction of what you would pay for it at other stores. Overall a definite buy.

Yummy Sloppy Joes
This beef sloppy Joes seasoning tastes pretty good! Now I never really had a sloppy Joe before other than when I was in grade school so it's been a long while in comparing tastes but this packet tasted pretty good. There is a little sweetness to the flavor but not too sweet. I used ground beef and seasoned my beef with garlic powder and onion powder. I did not add any sodium due to the seasoning packet containing an amount larger than I'm used to cooking with. It says to add tomato paste 6oz but I only used almost half of the can, I was trying to cut the sugar and carb content a little and myself and husband thought it was pretty good. I used regular hamburger buns and a slice of cheddar cheese. I would say give it a try!

    Pretty tasty !!!
    This was a great seasoning for a quick preparation meal. Normally I have it made from scratch but surprisingly, this turned out great. The smell was very appetizing and was not overwhelmingly burdensome. McCormick looks to be the a good choice for seasoning (quick, fast, and tasty... I am surprised that is not a slogan). Either way, I use a lot of meat in my sloppy joe which reduces the mess from juices and the seasoning worked great towards that. The flavor was just right. Not too spicy, or weird aromas. i would recommend of those who are looking to make a quick good tasting/decent meal.

    delicious sloppy Joes
    I decided it to make my kids the famous Sloppy Joes . My kids always talk about how much they love sloppy Joes . I had never tried them myself .This seasoning mix is made with natural spices . It has no msg and no artificial flavors . This package is 1.31 oz , with 15 calories in it . I bought a pound of ground beef and small hamburger bread for my sloppy joes . I put some oil on my pan added my meat and my sloppy Joe seasoning mix it together . It only took about 20 to 30 min and my meat was ready . This is something you can cook when you are in a hurry and want something delicious and quick . Its very simple to cook , after the meat is done just add the meat to your hamburger Bread . Then ready to enjoy . This brand McCormick has never disappoint me , their seasonings are great . They are good and delicious and always at low cost . I do recommend this seasoning to everyone . Is something the kids and you will enjoy eating .

    Great for picnics!
    When we feel in the picnic mood my wife pulls out a Sloppy Joes recipe that was published in the local newspaper back in the 1960s. Our children grew up eating these Sloppy Joes at our frequent back yard picnics. My son and his family were visiting. I thought this would be a good opportunity to test their taste buds on the McCormick Sloppy Joes Mix. I followed the simple instructions on the McCormick Sloppy Joes Mix package. I sliced a hamburger style bun and placed the buns on a picnic plates. Spooned some of the prepared Sloppy Joes meat mixture on the bottom half of the bun, then placed the top half of the bun on top of the Sloppy Joes and rang the dinner bell on our patio around the swim pool. The grandchildren jumped out of the pool and devoured the Sloppy Joes. After it was all over I asked the grandchildren what they thought about the Sloppy Joes. Their response was “They were GREAT at usual.” Then I asked my son that had grown up with the newspaper recipe, what he thought about the Sloppy Joes. His response was that they are always good. He did not have the slightest clue that the Sloppy Joes were from a mix. My wife and I agree that the Sloppy Joes are very good and much easier to make that the “Make From Scratch” recipe. For a quick and easy Sloppy Joe I would recommend the McCormick Sloppy Joes Mix. I received the McCormick Sloppy Joe Mix foree and review.

    Kids & Husband Love it, I am not fan
    I really did not care for the taste. It seems too bland to me. My husband and kids loved it and I had to go and buy another package and make more because they tore it up. Lets start by telling you that you have to add tomato sauce to it and waste half the can because it needs 6 or 9 oz of tomato sauce and I could only find a 15 oz can. So, buy 2 packages to not waste the sauce. You also need 1 lb of hamburger and water. It takes about 20 minutes to make. I expected a bold or sweet taste when it was done, and it really had no taste to me. I was not impressed at all. There were no little pieces of spices or vegetables or anything. It is pure powder form. My husband and kids loved it. They like easy to make a sandwich mix and don't really need much taste, just something to fill them up. So, with that being said, it seems to be great for kids and husbands without taste buds. I think it needs more flavor. I do not recommend it to impress anyone about your cooking. But, I would recommend it to fill kids up.

    Tasty; Quick; Simple
    I gave this product 4 stars because I thought it was OK, my husband thought it was awesome, and the kids thought it was good like the regular sloppy joes I cook. I normally use a sloppy joe mix in the can. This is only the second time I've used a sloppy joe mix in the packet. I must say it tasted a lot better than the other brand of seasoning mix I used. The other name brand I used I ended up throwing the sloppy joes out because no one liked it. I kind of expected the same thing with this seasoning mix, but I was pleasantly surprised that it tasted good. The instructions say to brown your ground meat or turkey, drain it, then add one can of tomato paste and 1/4 cup of water OR you can substitute that with 1 can of tomato sauce. I chose to use the can of tomato sauce. Once you add all the ingredients to your browned meat you just bring it back to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes. It was super easy to make, it definitely had a sloppy joe flavor and not as bold a flavor as some other brands which I liked. Sometimes the tomato taste can be overpowering, but it's not with this seasoning. The seasoning was a happy medium and it pleased everyone. Overall, it was a good meal that my entire family enjoyed. It was quick and simple to make.

    Easy dinner for a weeknight
    The McCormick Sloppy Joe Mix is a household favorite. This mix makes it easy to whip up a quick dinner in a short time after work, which is a plus for any working mom. I always do turkey meat to make it a bit healthier. I used tomato sauce instead of the tomato paste and water as suggested, and I also added a little bit of ketchup, and in my house we can big on ketchup. This seasoning packet was a very close comparison in flavor to the homemade sloppy joes I make that is my own recipe, only this takes about half the time as my homemade sauce does. I place the sloppy joes on a wheat hamburger bun that was lightly buttered and toasted. It makes a quick easy dinner when you're in a time crunch, and it's quite delicious also! A win-win for sure!-

    McCormick Sloppy Joes Seasoning Mix is so simple to put together--no rocket scientist needed LOL It has a good taste with some heat--it is a one pan meal--no need for many pots and pans especially when not in mood for big cooking. Directions tells can omit the tomato paste and water instead use 15oz can of tomato sauce no water-I chose the latter and came out very moist but not runny. My 7 year old grandson comment "It's Delicious". It is very good and tasty. Thanks McCormick

    A great dinner in 20 minutes or less
    These McCormick seasonings are a favorite around here. Also a favorite for me because McCormick makes cooking a quick hot meal so easy. Great for a busy evening meal or just a night when you want it fast and easy. All you do is brown up the ground beef, drain and add a packet of McCormick Sloppy Joes Seasoning Mix. Cook for a few minutes then serve on hamburger rolls with some fries or chips and dinner is done in less then 20 minutes. Also since it all cooks in one pan, Cleanup is a breeze too! The kids LOVE them! If you haven't tried them yet grab one and try it.
