They are so good I bought 3
I had purchased a similar bookshelf from another company and had nothing but problems. I saw an ad for this website, and I purchased 3 of them and I'm glad I did. Not only were they cheaper, but the other company delivered them a week late and Hayneedle's shipment arrived 5 days early. That's pretty amazing timing especially because I had free shipping. They look absolutely beautiful at events and lots of people ask me where I got them and I can happily direct them to Hayneedle now. I will definitely buy from them in the future. Excellent customer service and great prices for the products.

Well made, but not as strong as competitors
This is a classic design for shelves, easy to set up and use. I have bought similar shelves from other vendors before, and used them for years. These were much cheaper, and as expected, they use noticeably thinner cuts of wood. They sway under the weight of my books. I do not expect them to last as long as my other ones. Nevertheless, for what I paid, I am satisfied.

    very pleased.
    Very sturdy. I needed this for a collection of photo albums which are fairly heavy and it works perfectly! I would definitely buy this again. I was surprised that there was no assembly required and I love how it folds flat for moving or storage.

    Nice but not as stated in pics or description
    Color definitely not as shown or stated. Was shown a dark brown but arrived being a reddish color. Construction is good though.

    Good Quality Bookcases
    I was a bit skeptical but due to other good reviews (and a great sale) I went ahead and ordered two of these bookcases. The only available option was the honey oak but two cans of black satin spray paint later they looked great! They really are well made and seem quite sturdy and I got them for half price + 25% off. I am a happy camper!

    A Little Disappointing
    I've bought a number of these bookcases over the years, usually from bricks and mortar stores. Now that I've set them up, these bookcases will likely serve their intended purpose and not collapse under the weight of books or anything like that. Still, I have to say that they are inferior in quality to the others I own: the wooden side supports are thinner; the construction is flimsier and the finish is so light (I'm not referring to the color here, which is fine) as to make them almost indistinguishable from unfinished wood. So, I'm satisfied with the purchase, but a little disappointed by the quality of these bookcases.
