Great product! Check in store price before buying.
Great taste and flavor! Unfortunately, it does have high sodium content. I ordered it online for in-store pickup. However, I later discovered that the price in the store was thirty-four cents a can less expensive than I paid online for in-store pickup.

Need to Clean Up Their Olive Oil Act
I've been buying mackerel and sardines in oil from this seller for many years now. In the last year I've noticed that their olive oil is dark and rancid. I seem to experience it more often with the sardines but have encountered it with the mackerel as well. They Need to Clean Up Their Act (and sourcing and freshness of their olive oil because this is dangerous to overall health).

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/31/2021Great value and great tasteIf sardines scare you, please give these a try. They remind me texture wise of an expensive canned/jarred tuna filet. Mild flavor. A little dry, but thats to be expected with boneless and skinless. King Oscar are better, but costs more and are even harder to find at Walmart. That being said, I will always purchase a can (or four!!) whenever I see them. Great value for the price. I feel strongly about nutrient diversity and mixing up your canned seafood consumption. LOVE THESE! I hope that Walmart stocks them (and KO) forever.Tara

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser03/05/2017Great fish for being cannedI just recently (within the past year) started eating canned fish like sardines, anchovies, and with this one - mackerel. I have to see the mackerel is really good. They are little fillets of white fish meat in olive oil. I eat them sometimes for lunch and they really hit the spot!James
