Like taking nothing
If you have real GERD this is NOT for you. It's like a placebo! Occasional heartburn, like the box says, maybe. But I wouldn't count on it. Other store brands actually worked better that this. I'd been on brand name Nexium for many years til insurance stopped paying for it. After trying the generic store brands I will be forced to buy the Nexium OTC and possibly have to take two of them since the OTCs are only 20 mg, not 40 mg like brand Nexium.

    Works just as well as nexium! I have horrible reflux and heartburn all day, every day. I thought I was stuck buying the expensive name brand meds and taking 1-2 pills a day just to feel normal. Then I found these and was intrigued by the price, so I gave them a try and I haven't looked back since! I will always buy these now!

    Worthless product from a long-time user
    I've been taking another brand of esomeprazole magnesium (20 mg) for a long time but switched over to Equate brand to try to save some money. Boy, what a mistake! I've been burping and having heartburn ever since changing to Walmart's brand -- the exact opposite of what I should be experiencing on this medicine. Makes me wonder if there's anything in those capsules at all!

    Equate brand works perfectly!
    I began using RX Nexium when it came on the market years ago. I no longer need 40mg. This dose of 20mg. has been doing the job for me the past 4 years I've been buying these Equate capsules and am 100% satisfied. No need to buy the brand name.

    Just as good as Nexium
    I use Nexium on a daily basis to help my digestion etc but the name brand is very costly especially if you take it on a daily basis. I was looking for other generic brands at lesser price because I don't have a drug plan and found this. This works just as well as the name brand. I would absolutely recommend this to others in the same situation.
