This is a very good choice for those seeking omega-3 fats and high protein. It would be better, if there were a salt free choice. Since there isn't a salt free option, do no use the liquid the salmon comes packed in. And before eating, rinse the salmon in cold water.

I have tried other brands, but this one needs rinsing and cleaning. I know, I know, “The bones and skin adds nutrition “. Fine, if you prefer that. I, myself, do not. Also, there���s a strange taste, not salmon-y. Don't like it. Could be the “manufacturer”, not cleaning the equipment.

    I like the texture and the taste of this wild salmon.Good price too.It's better than others that I've tried.They were bland and looked almost like cat food. This is good tasting salmon.

    I've purchased this many times. Sometimes the fish comes in it's own juices they are red and oily with a delicious Salmon taste and other times like most recently it's a washed out watery broth that lacks flavor. Very inconsistent product.

    Overall, it is a very good product. Very healthy.
    My dog does not like the salmon. It is good on salads and sandwiches. The smell is fine. I like to eat it plain, right out of the can. The packaging was not great on this delivery, the cans were just thrown into the box and then shipped.

    Placed an online order 11-15-2020. All four cans of the Trident Royal Red Wild Alaskan Red Sockeye Salmon, 7.5 oz I ordered were dented. Were they used as hockey pucks? The box they were shipped in had no damage and rest of my order was received in good condition.
