Gift: “Just OK”—Turkish NOT German
This product was a gift. The recipients said it was just OK, not great—more watery than oil based. Also, the product image states that it is from Germany, and the tins they received were from Turkey.

    It's good
    I liked Bumble Bee's Smoke Flavored Salmon a lot until they changed the contents - now the can says CoHo Salmon and it's not the same. So I tried this. It's good but not as good as the old salmon.

    Yummy and packed with protein.
    Lasts for a long time, two years to eat, and tastes great. High protein value, great for packed lunch box for work. I usually put the fish on a toasted pumpernickel bread slice with horseradish sauce and two slices of tomatoes. Eat any time on the go.

    Pretty good, but barely correct weight.
    While I really like these smoked trout. Tey are a mild but tasty fish and there appears to be nearly as much "juice" in the can as canola oil. But, I could not give them a 5 star rating. I originally was going to only give them three stars. From a 5 star maximum, I was taking off 1 because of difficulty opening can (Pull tab broke off and my Kuhn-Rikon can opener was only able to partially open the lid) and also taking off 1/2 for there being A LOT of small pieces in these, and another half because the product just barely meets the specified weight. After noticing that the cans did not appear as full as another brand I decided to weigh the contents of a couple cans. In order to weigh the specified "75g drained" you need to not let them get too well drained or you would end up a few grams short. But then I put 1 star back because this brand is at least a buck cheaper than the other brand I have frequently bought. (BumbleBee brand on left in picture).
