I am rating the durability five stars after only one week of ownweship based on the fact that they appear to be superior to any other containers I have owned. Very sturdy. There is no searching for lids any more. They stay right where they are easily seen and reached. The lids are nice and tight. No more clutter in my cabinet. Glad I got two sets. They would make a great gift.

Not the same quality product I purchased before!
Not the same quality product I purchased 2 years ago! The lids are lighter in color, softer almost too flexible and are definitely not microwavable! What happened? Are these some kind of knockoffs? I got a set for Christmas in 2011 and they're still going strong. One of the new ones is already stained and the cover is warping! Junk. Disposable junk.

    Added these to the 40 piece set, the 2.5 gallon one, two of the separate ones to have more when I needed to store a lot. EXACTLY what I needed to replace OLD, broken, mismatched storage containers. I went ahead and bought these because of the easy find lid storage ability with these. I HATE losing lids when I go to get a storage container out of the cabinet or worse have 20 things falling on my head. GREAT set. Will remember these for wedding gifts.

    Containers are fine- mine was mispackaged
    Generally the product functioned as it should, but I had 2 major concerns. 1) it was mispackaged! Rather than 2 .5 oz containers and their lids I just received 4 lids. What am I supposed to do with 4 tiny lids?!? 2) things from Wal-Mart aren't well packaged and the boxes arrive pretty beat up.

    easy to use, durable, lids interchange, stackable
    Gotta love these containers, when stacked, they take up very little space, lid in the 2sizes interchange for 2-3different volume sizes, small ones great for condiments, syrups, sauces, etc. Dishwasher safe, if you leave food in a little too long so it begins to mold, misplaced in back of refrig or left out, wipe out and place in 10% bleach solution for 10+ minutes before running through dishwasher, can be as good as new! If surface breaches due to mircrowaving (microwaveable as long as not over heated) lid usually can be saved and used on like set. as lids lock together, it's pretty easy to find especially if "locked" onto bottom of compariable size container. Have been using for years, just need to replace from time to time when son leaves them in refrigerator at work and someone else "rescues them for their own use. He often finds containers with his permanent markings with someone else labels pasted over his mark. Also have others in larger sizes.

    These were replacement for our old ones. So far we love them. I have had them before, but as you know plastic ware gets dingy after a while. I love that the lids snap onto the bottoms, so I can keep them together. No more rummaging to find a lid. Even though the website tricks you into buying two sets for $20.00 (on my receipt it says I bought two $10.00 items, I guess they bundle them for the website) it is still a good deal.

    Very sturdy and durable container set
    I am so tired of digging through my pantry for missing lids to containers so I purchased 4 sets of these. Actually, I've purchased one or two sets a year for the last few years. I prepare food for my elderly mother and my daughter and freeze it in these containers and send it home with them. If they remember to return them - great. If not it's not a big deal, but I really like these containers. When I buy a 1/2 gallon of ice cream I scoop it out into the smallest containers and pop it back in the freezer. Now I have a perfect portion size of ice cream and don't have to wait for it to thaw enough to scoop it out. I used to buy the containers sold in the grocery department, but they're so aggravating that this is all I buy. I never even look at the others. I'm moving into a new house in 2 weeks and decided to throw out my collection of whipped topping containers and switch to just these.

    Good for small, hard to find sizes.
    I was surprised at first because I had imagined that the sizes of these containers were going to be much bigger than they were. Now, I realize that most times they are just right for items that are left over from meals. Sometimes, we do not realize that we are putting our leftovers in containers that take up much more space than necessary. These, in most cases are more than enough. I also like the clear plastic which makes things much easier to recognize. The price is great and they will come in handy. Remember to store them as directed to save space and locate tops with greater ease.

    These are great leftover containers, because they are heavy weight plastic and will last a lot longer than the thin Glad/Ziploc containers. These bases can also be put in the lower part of a dishwasher. I wouldn't do that with the lids though. Awesome that the lids snap together and to the base of the container, which makes it easier for my husband to know which lid goes with what, because it's all together in the cabinet. Good investment!

    Good assortment and can't beat the price
    Even for Walmart, the price on this set was incredible - 2 sets for $20 can't be beat. I would have been skeptical, except that my wife had already purchased a few of these containers that we'd been using for several months. They are well designed, very easy to stack and fit into small places, and interchangeable lids are very handy. Pretty much what you'd expect out of any Rubbermaid (or competitor) set of plastic storage, except that the bottom of the bottoms 'snap' into the top of the lids, and the lids 'snap' into each other; very handy when you want to carry multiple full containers - they snap into each other, making them much more stable than just stacking them on top of each other. This is a very clever design that I really like. We don't snap them together in the fridge because it's just a hassle to unsnap them without taking the whole stack out, but they still stay stacked well without snapping them together. The only down side is that they will melt in the lower rack of the dishwasher (we've already melted one of the lids. I'm guessing this is due to the fact that they are removing all the BPA chemicals from these containers, which make them less durable. A fair trade-off in my opinion, and easily solved by always putting them on the top rack or washing by hand. Also, you may notice when you first use them, that the lids can be tough to get on. They loosen up after the first use though, and this hasn't been a problem after that. Since we got 2 full sets of these, it's unlikely that we'll need to replace them any time soon. However, if elves sneaked into our kitchen in the middle of the night and ran off with all of them, I would definitely get a new set.
