Our 6 year old daughter LOVES it!
I have done alot of research on these ride on toys. I read all the customer reviews, which I rely HEAVILY on so I am inclined to review this item as to help future shoppers like myself. Ok so it was a toss up between this one and the preg prego (i think that's the name) which was very close in price. One of the biggest selling points for us was the weight max on this one. Its 130 lbs! I actually rode this and went up a semi-steep hill and its pulled my 128 lb butt right up the hill. Our daughter just turned 6 and she is a big girl. She has always been big therefore the others that max out at 65 lbs wasn't going to work. She is about 60 lbs now. What I like about this item is this: 1)-the weight max 130 lbs! 2)-it was SO EASY TO ASSEMBLE! 3)-it will be able to used by our daughter for at least 2 more years (minimum) until we can get her a full sized gas one! 4)-this Quad goes over gravel,hills,grass and has pretty good traction for a 12 volt kids toy. I like that it has 2 speeds and reverse. It was about $230 with tax and it was delivered earlier than expected! Shipping was free. It has a pedal on the right side (foot) and the shift is in the middle. Our daughter knows how to work it and just loves the fact that she can go up on the lawn to the street and up small hills. She loves the independence it gives her and I can walk the dogs and she can drive along with us. I do wish it went a bit faster but as far as all the 12 volt ride on's go this is standard. There is 1 I saw that goes 3 & 6 mph. This one goes 2.5 mph & 5 mph. I don't think the .5 mph is going to be that noticeable. Anyway, she just LOVES her present and I would DEFINITELY recommend this to anyone in the market for one of these. I also like the fact that she can ride alone or have a friend ride on behind her. The other ones were side by side (seating) but this is more rough and tough like-more-sporty. Its purple and white. This will keep her happy until she is old enough for a "real" one. The battery was charged for the min 14 hours. actually we charged it for like 22 hours! it held up for about 2 1/2 -3 hours of riding. So far she has only ridden it around the house and neighborhood. But looking forward to taking it somewhere she can really go up and down and on bumpy rides. This Quad CAN HANDLE WHAT SHE DISHES OUT! We live in Suffolk County LI, NY.The south shore is pretty flat but I know of a few spots where she can ride it for a bumpy hilly ride! I wish we had gotten it for her when she was younger so she could have enjoyed it for longer! Great for 4 yrs and up! Very Happy Purchase!

Used item beware!
Item came in a damaged box that was taped up, it clearly was already used. The handle bar was broken, the framed scratched, and it didnt even come with the charger for the battery. Super disappointed, especially since this is a birthday gift for our son and will now not be replaced in time.

    My order got here 2 days early and assembly was quick and easy. My 3 year old absolutely loves it. Just a quick tip...order the extra batteries (they are buy one get one free). My son was getting super upset when the battery ran down. Usually lasts about 2 to 2.5hrs.

    We love it! I bought this for my son's 6th Birthday in March and honestly we plan on purchasing another one for our daughter. They run for a long time and doesn't take long to charge. The shift knob came off which is the only thing I would have to say was a down side but everything works great and it still shifts. I highly recommend this for kids.

    It's very sturdy.
    It's a lot bigger then I expected. This is a picture of my dad putting it together. It's a Christmas gift for my grandson who is 4. I can't give a complete review till after Christmas.

    Great present for a 4 year old
    Bought this for my sons birthday and it was a hit!!!! Assembly was easy and had all the tools needed included. My son jumped right in and started driving it around (we charged it the day before). Battery didnt last very long probably 1-2 hrs thats the only down. He was able to go up and down the road and grass with easy. Im very pleased with it.

    Great buy!
    Bought this for my 5 year old nephew back in June and weve had no problems with it. It rides in the grass with no problems and the battery last for hours. We were able to talk our entire neighborhood 3 times and my neighborhood is about 4-5 miles long.

    Tons of fun...
    I bought this for my 2 yr old and he absolutely loves it... The 2mph is slow for him and it didn't take long for him to learn how to reverse and go up to 5 mph... I think the handle that moves it in to all 3 positions is a bit cheap and not sturdy enough to getc grabbed bank and fourth by a 2 yr old beast boy but overall it's a great product...

    We bought the power wheels for our grandsons because they hold more weight so we knew they could ride them for many years. They LOVE them! For the price they are a great deal. We liked them so much we got one for our granddaughter also!

    I bought it for my son third birthday and it is the perfect size. He is still able to ride his also 3 year old cousin on the back . All thouhh the high speed is a little to fast for me at that age , they love it and it was easy for him to learn how to ride it and it looks great !

    My Grandson Loves his Yamaha
    This battery operated Yamaha 4-wheeler has been an excellent choice for my 3 yr old grandson. The battery is securely covered from a toddlers inquisitive nature by a screw. Simply remove the one screw to uncover the battery to hook up to the charger. Long lasting charge. Has enough power to go up inclines. The shifter for forward and reverse could be a bit more sturdy. A toddler can be rough shifting the gear throttle. We haven't had it long enough to see the overall longevity of this item. At this time I do give it 5 stars. Easy for children to operate under parental guidance.
